A place of work since 1836.

The Wilmot resides on Albion Street in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter. A Grade II listed Victorian villa born from the Industrial Revolution, It was designed by renowned architect William Tadman-Foukes in 1884. For the majority of its life it was home to WH Wilmot, a maker of gold chains for watches, who resided in the building from 1893 to 2009. Using JQTH grant funding, the building has been repurposed to the workspace which is The Wilmot.

Close enough to the City Centre to feel a part of it, far enough away to feel a part of a community, The Jewellery Quarter has long been the creative hub for a burgeoning Birmingham. Within the walls of The Wilmot you’ll have all of the tools required for your business to thrive along with knowledge that your neighbours have a similar mindset. We offer flexibility. In time. In people. In space. The rigid boundaries of our external wall are more interchangeable inside, to accommodate freelancers, teams and enterprises alike.
